Caption: Eglington Street Garda Station pictured in our old photo in January 1986. The former RIC barracks had served as the Garda headquarters in Galway up until January of that year when the force transferred to their current base in Mill Street.
Today, the site is occupied by various retail outlets and offices, including those of the Central Applications Office (CAO), as well as the Eglinton snooker club.
