Galway City Gallery opened its doors last Friday for the ‘’Galway Art Fair’', an exhibition featuring work from nine emerging and established Galway artists. The exhibition was curated by Tom McLean who was also featured in the show and is in conjunction with the ongoing Art Fair at the Columban Hall on Sea Road. The Galway City Gallery promotes artist’s at various stages in their career and the exhibition doubled as a fundraiser for similar events in the near future.The ‘’Galway Art Fair’’ runs from the 21-23rd of October. Galway City Gallery is located at 15, New Dock Street.

Exhibiting Artists include Connor Robertson, recent graduate of CCAM specializing in paint. Simon Daly, graduate of CCAM specializing in paint. Brenda Flannery, Visual Artist, CCAM, working in Engage Art Studios. Peter Bradley, Painter, LSAD, working in Engage Art Studios.
Philip Doddy, Galway based painter working in oils. Daire Lynch , Self-thought figurative painter based in Cong, Mayo. Elizabeth Larty, a recent graduate of CCAM specializing in Ceramics. Jin Yong, a Chinese Visual artist who is based in Ireland since 2002. Tom McLean, CCAM, Painter and Illustrator working in 126 studios.
Pictured at the opening were Tom McLean, exhibitor and curator, and Claire Keegan, Galway Fringe Festival.
