Runners on the Mutton Island causeway during the Galway Simon Womens Mini-Marathon. 23/6/2013 Mutton Island<br /> Returning from Mutton Island as the tide comes in during a walk to the island in June 1990. Since then, a sewage treatment plant has been built on the island, with a causeway linking the island to South Park. The newer photo is of compwetotirs taking part in the Simon Galway Women's 8K Mini Marathon recently.
