Over the weekend as part of Galway International Arts Festival the public built a replica of the Aula Maxima at NUI Galway using cardboard boxes and tape at Eyre Square in an architectural event devised by the French artist Olivier Grossetete. On Sunday after the cardboard building was knocked down members of the public, mostly children were invited to crush and tear up the boxes for recycling.
